Beach Music

Beach music "is an idiom, a sound, a lifestyle. It's the magic of the summer sun playing tricks on the waves. It's the glow in the eyes of two young people from two different places who meet and find something special. It's a pale yellow moon, ocean spray, sand and seagulls -- a part of life that shouldn't be missed and can never be forgotten." - quote from beach-music historian Dale Van Horn, appearing in the book, The Beach: The History of Paradise on Earth, by Lena Lencek and Gideon Bosker, by Viking, 1998, pg. 245.
