Beach Mining in Washington to be Discussed
- "Last August the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission approved a rule to allow small-scale mining, beach prospecting, and placer mining on ocean beaches managed by the State. [...] Washington State Parks has announced that it will conduct a public informational meeting at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 16 at Montesano City Hall, located at 112 N.
