Yes, under the right conditions it is possible to surf along Pennsylvania's Lake Erie shoreline! This video reportedly shows surfing at Presque Isle State Park.

Recognition by State

Pennsylvania does not officially recognize surfing as an economic, cultural, and recreational resource.

Surfrider Foundation Chapters

Surfrider Foundation currently has four chapters on the Great Lakes - a Lake Michigan Chapter based in Grand Haven, Michigan, as well as chapters in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minnesota.
