Happy World Reef Day!

Today is World Reef Day, a day to honor and take action on our world's coral reefs, the most biologically diverse ecosystem on the planet. While many of our reefs are suffering due to pollution, development and a changing climate- each of us can help aid in their health and protection by (1) reducing our greenhouse gas emissions- climate change fuels global stressors like warming waters and ocean acidification (2) opting for more reef friendly products that avoid toxic chemicals known to be harmful to marine life and (3) preventing stormwater runoff by protecting natural environments and planting Ocean Friendly Gardens.
