New, Strict Air Pollution Rules Proposed for Boat Motors
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced on July 26 new air pollution emission regulations for gasoline powered boats that would require an approximately 80% reduction in air pollution. The rules, if passed as proposed, would take effect in 2008.
