Saving Water Through Smart Showers

"Showers account for 22% of the water we use each day. You can cut that in half by installing low-flow shower heads, which mix in air but don't lower water pressure. To save even more, try your next shower military-style: run the water until you're wet, turn it off while lathering up, then back on for a quick rinse. On average, you'll save five gallons." (Excerpt from the Environmental Defense Newsletter, July 2002, Pg. 6)
