Surfrider's Repairing Shoreline Damage in Rincón, PR
- "Rincn, PR - Less than a year after the coastline in front of Rincn's Indicators and Marias were bulldozed to create beachfront parking for the Quicksilver Caribbean Cup and after months of planning, over 80 volunteers joined together to "reforest" the denuded area. Surfrider volunteers and students from three high-schools, two in Rincn and one in Guaynabo, came together on the morning of Saturday, September 28 to plant trees in the bulldozed area."
