Sea Otter Awareness Week, Sept. 27-Oct. 2
- "Defenders of Wildlife is presenting Sea Otter Awareness Week Monday, September 27, through Saturday, October 2. This week-long series of public events celebrates one of California's most charismatic species, the sea otter, and is a collaboration with sea otter researchers, marine institutions, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Seymour Marine Discovery Center and Monterey Bay area schools.
