EPA Proposes More Exemptions for Factory Farms
- "EPAs proposed rule provides an administrative reporting exemption for air releases of hazardous substances -- primarily ammonia and hydrogen sulfide -- from animal waste at farms." - excerpt from the Environmental Protection Agency's press release of Dec. 21, 2007. Here's more info from the EPA. The proposed rule changes have not yet been published in the Federal Register.
