Marine Protected Areas Are Coming to the Irish Sea

"Irish Sea Conservation Zones is a project to help secure a healthy and productive future for the coast and waters of the Irish Sea. We want you to be involved. Over the next few years, parts of the Irish Sea will be given further environmental protection. We dont yet know where the protected areas will be. The users and interest groups of the Irish Sea will recommend which areas should be protected, and what form that protection should take. It's our job to help them." - excerpt from this Irish Sea Conservation Zones web page.
