Sea Urchins Can be Beneficial or Detrimental to Ecosystem Health
- In Hawaii, sea urchins are being touted as a secret weapon used to fight invasive seaweed. But off the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California, sea urchins are being removed to help a kelp forest get re-established.
