Recent video shows severity of plastic pollution to marine animals

Watch this video (warning - fairly graphic) of a fisherman gutting a fish, only to find a plethora of large plastic debris in the fish's stomach. Plastic is choking, suffocating, and starving our marine life. Toxic chemicals adhered to plastic, like DDT and brominated flame retardants, may also be getting into fish meat post ingestion, and become bioavailable to human consumption.
