This is Tsunami Awareness Month
- The Senate has unanimously approved a resolution introduced by Senators Akaka and Inouye of Hawaii designating April 2011 as “Tsunami Awareness Month.” The resolution encourages Americans to observe Tsunami Awareness Month and to be prepared by identifying evacuation routes.
