Enough Already! Support the Texas Open Beaches Act.
- "After spending more than 18 months attempting to answer a key legal question in Severance's lawsuit against Texas -- issuing an unpopular decision, then having second thoughts -- the Supreme Court has sent the case back to a federal appeals court to decide whether the whole thing is moot. You see, Severance sold both the houses she sued the state over, through a federal buyout program, no less. And though she claims big government might still come after her remaining beachfront home, Texas officials argue she's misrepresented whether that property is in danger.
