Another Ocean Champion Announces Retirement
- Yesterday Brian Baird, Program Manager for Ocean Resources Management with California's Resources Agency announced his retirement effective October 1. Mr. Baird worked at California's Resources Agency for 18 years. He also represented the Resources Agency on the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council, was Chair of the Resources Agency Sea Grant Advisory Panel, and was in charge of producing a statewide strategy for protecting and managing the State's ocean resources titled, California's Ocean Resources: An Agenda for the Future.
